We Know the Way (We Know Jesus)

I am often wondering what path I should take, where I should go to work, who I should date, and ultimately how I should serve God. I often worry if whether I’m doing the right thing. But when I hear the Holy Spirit’s voice—and obey it— everything works out. That’s because I know my Saviour’s voice…do you?

In Psalm 89:15, we are reminded that God’s people know that “joyful sound”. That sound could be anything, including a voice. And in John, Jesus tells us that “His sheep hear His voice…for they know his voice.” (John 10:3-4). Finally, in John 14:4-6, Jesus tells us that (concerning heaven) wherever He goes, we know the way. And Jesus is the “way, the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6).

Because we know Jesus, and His voice, then guess what? We therefore know the Way! We know the Way to everlasting life, peace, joy, happiness, and God’s mercy. If you ever wonder what path you should take, or what decision you should make, be encouraged!

As long as you know Jesus, you will know the Way!
