Minor Prophet's Key Verses

These scriptures may be from the Minor Prophets, but they carry major weight when referring to God's perfect character towards His children.

Hosea 10:12

“Sow in righteousness, reap mercy, break up your ground, for it is time to seek the LORD…”

Joel 2:28

“…. I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions…”

Amos 5:24

“But let judgement run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”

Obadiah 1:17

“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”

Jonah 2:7

“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.”

Micah 6:8

“He has shown thee, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Nahum 1:7

“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in Him.”

Habakkuk 3:19

“The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places…”

Zephaniah 3:17

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.”

Haggai 2:9

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the LORD of hosts: ‘and in this place will I give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.

Zechariah 4:6

Malachi 3:10
